Ahead of the start of the Vendée Arctique, MAPEI's sponsorship of the Allagrande MAPEI team took another step forward, creating a real community of supporters united by their passion for sailing and their cheering for Ambrogio Beccaria.
On June 7, MAPEI France welcomed 25 guests, including many sailing enthusiasts, to Les Sables-d’Olonne, offering them the opportunity to visit the IMOCA Allagrande MAPEI and meet its skipper, Ambrogio Beccaria, along with the entire team, just days before the start of the race. An exclusive experience that allowed guests to experience the behind-the-scenes of the starting village and immerse themselves in the atmosphere preceding one of the main events in ocean sailing.

During the visit, guests got a close look at the daily life of a skipper engaged in offshore races, and for many of them, it was also the first time they had boarded an IMOCA.
The team talked about the challenges of solo navigation, the strategic and tactical decisions that characterize an oceanic competition, and the intense preparation work required to face it.

For Ambrogio Beccaria, the Vendée Arctique represented a particularly significant moment: his first solo race in the IMOCA class and the competitive debut of the boat after a major refitting that lasted several months.
The initiative turned into much more than a simple visit. The meeting fostered the creation of a direct relationship between the guests and the Allagrande MAPEI team, transforming the participants into authentic ambassadors of the sporting project and a community of fans ready to follow and support Ambrogio Beccaria in future challenges.

The day concluded with a convivial lunch that brought together guests and crew in an informal atmosphere, offering further opportunities for discussion and sharing based on a passion for sailing.
At the end of the event, participants expressed great appreciation for the welcome received and left Les Sables-d’Olonne with the enthusiasm to continue following Allagrande MAPEI's sporting journey, ready to support its successes in upcoming competitions.
